107 Days, by Kamala Harris
Obviously, I’m a Democrat..lol. My girlfriend, Kristin, her Mom, and her daughters are, too, and we are all fans of Kamala Harris. We got the opportunity to see her in person in Cleveland in February as part of her book tour.
Tickets sold out to the public in 10 minutes, but luckily, a few days later, Kristin told me a friend had season tickets they weren’t going to use, and we were all going! We were so excited! And thank you to my kids who bought me one of the tickets for my birthday!
Should you read it?…YES, especially if you’re a Democrat and voted for her.
After I saw her in person, heard her voice, and heard her contagious laugh, I needed to read 107 Days. I was in the middle of reading another title, so I decided to listen to it. She narrated it, so it made the experience all the better.
It was her truth. It was how she felt. And it was very interesting how each chapter of the book was one day leading up to election day. I learned a lot about how our presidential elections are run and how crazy and unpredictable they can be. As always, I don’t like sharing any information that would hinder your reading experience. It’s like when movie trailers show too much. My objective is to share what I read and recommend it, or not.
Remember..books are subjective.

Sounds interesting! I’m not an American but I did follow the American election…well, not closely, exactly, but I followed it.

It was interesting. The background scoop of how a campaign works is crazy! I’m embarrassed he’s our president and I apologize to the chaos he has brought to your country at times.

I could really feel your excitement in this, especially getting to see Kamala in person before reading the book. (I remember you going!) I also loved that your kids bought you a ticket for your birthday. ❤️
I’ll add this book to my list!
