2024 is arriving soon! Many of us take time to reflect at the end of each year. I always look forward to the hope and joy of a fresh start in January!

Each year that passes it seems we get a little wiser, right? Here are four frivolous things I learned in 2023….

You need the right tools and gadgets for the job. My father always preached this but after all these years, I now know it’s true. Thanks to Amazon, I’ve found a couple of silly products that I should have bought years ago that just make life a little easier. These car hooks keep my purse and small bags from falling on the floor of my car and this gadget gets all the product from a pump bottle without having to balance the bottle on your counter. It’s the little things… PS. Amazon did not endorse me for mention of these products.

Having an electric toothbrush makes a world of difference in my dental health. I’ve used an electric brush for years and recently purchased the newest model with more features. Even my dentist noticed an improvement which says a lot because I’m certain my teeth are made of paper mache. I would be thrilled not to frequent my dentist as often next year.

Using good skincare products consistently has improved the look and feel of my face. For years my morning and night routine was a quick face wash and moisturizer. For the past year, I added a couple of serums and two different moisturizers for day and night. My skin will never look like it did in my 20s, but it feels better, and I’ve noticed an overall improvement.

What would I do without the note app on my phone? I’ve been consistently using it for the past year for things like my TBR book list, blog ideas, and general info I need to have handy. Since I usually have my phone nearby, it’s much easier to use than physical paper and pencil notes.

Cheers to 2024! Let it be your best year ever! I hope it’s filled with happiness, good health, and peace. Thank you for continuing to support my blog each week! If you’re so inclined, please consider sharing my site with others. I hope to have been a small beacon of light for you each week!
