The world of blogging is pretty cool. You make friends through reading other writers’ blogs and get to know them without ever meeting them in person. But you become friends! Yup. It’s awesome!
I’ve talked about my friend Kari before, author of A Grace Full Life. Check out her blog. She’s awesome! She invited her fellow bloggers and readers to answer some fun questions on Vogue’s 73 Questions. I’m not doing 73, but I picked 15. I thought it would be a fun change of pace. Here I go!…..
One thing in your bag at all times? Lip gloss/flavored chapstick.
Favorite scent? A bonfire and toasted marshmallows combined.
What was your favorite movie as a child? Grease.
What’s the coolest thing in the world? The sky…I find it fascinating, although I would never want to go to space! I would be terrified.
What’s your favorite fruit? It absolutely changes by the season, but peaches in the summer are the best!
Vintage or new? As for house aesthetics, I like traditional furniture, but I love and enjoy vintage tchotchkes.
What do you notice when you first meet someone? If they smile, make eye contact, and seem genuinely engaged in your conversation.
Favorite apps on your phone? Notes and Waze.
Favorite thing to wear? Lounge clothes…wide, comfy pants and a cozy sweatshirt.
What is your favorite thing to eat? Movie popcorn..dah..
Secret talent? It’s really not a secret, but I’m great at keeping everything in our house in its place and organized.
Diamonds or pearls? Diamonds.
What are you most excited about these days? Crisp fall days, blue skies, and s’mores. FYI..I didn’t have one last fall or all summer. I’m much overdue.
Is there something you can’t do? Be quiet… if it’s a subject I am passionate about.
What makes you happy? When my kids are happy and a really good piece of cake..lol

Oh, Judy! You reminded me that I wanted to do something similar! Thank you! I love these kinds of questions, they are so much fun. I like the ones you picked! Your last one really resonates with me – nothing better than cake and having the kids happy!
Popcorn is my favourite snack as well. And I can’t say Grease was my favourite movie as a child but I have watched it approximately one million times and can sing the whole soundtrack by heart. “Why this car is automatic, it’s systematic, it’s hydromatic, why it’s greased lightning!”

I agree these questions from Kari are fun and it’s a twist on a regular post! Haha…I’m glad we have things in common! Popcorn, cake, and our happy kids!..lol I can’t wait to see YOUR list! BTW, what IS your favorite childhood movie? Now I’m curious!
Kari
I love all of your answers, my friend! I love the smell of a bonfire, too. And I’m with you on keeping everything organized and in its place. I know I said The Wiz was my favorite movie as a child, but Grease was a close second. The kids in my neighborhood loved it too, and we would pretend we were different characters. Such a fun movie! I loved reading this. 😘💜

Well, THANK YOU for the idea, my friend! You know I admire your creative and unique blogs. Grease is the word! I wanted to be Sandy so bad!! lol
Kari
ME TOO!!!

What a fun set of questions and answers. I enjoyed reading yours!! My talent is also organizing—just think, we could have made a living from doing that if we had desired to do so.

My huband and friends tell me that all the time! I can deal with my stuff, but not sure about with anyone else’s junk..lol
