Next Tuesday is St. Patrick’s Day. The color green represents the holiday, so here are some of my favorites…
– the color of summer grass and the earthy green smell of it after it’s freshly cut
-a colorful mix of greens in a big salad..yes, I’m referencing Elaine Benes from Seinfeld…
-English seedless cucumbers for the salad, of course!
-Apple Jacks (they are kind of green..lol)
-my cat, Theo’s eyes
-peas (especially when they’re in my sister-in-law Pam’s summer staple side-dish, Pea Salad!)
-avocados, because who doesn’t like good guacamole?
-big beautiful basil leaves straight from the plant
-a cold, icy green smoothie on a hot summer morning
-mint chocolate chip ice cream
-dill pickles
-a fresh, sharp green crayon straight from the box, because who doesn’t love that?
-Peter Pan, because I’m a Disney nerd
-the actual box of Girl Scout Thin Mint cookies (I know the cookies are chocolate brown and delicious!)
-my phone case is neon green, and I love it because I can find it easily when I misplace it
-my youngest’s favorite color has always been green, so that’s a good reason to like it

I love all those things too – except Peter Pan! Mint is one of my favourite flavours, love a big salad, and avocados – are you kidding me, how can something be so delicious! Love avocados so much!

Nicole, I can see you loving avocadoes.! Funny, that I JUST started liking them a couple of years ago. Now I eat them often with lots of lime..Oh! I fogot to add lime to my list..lol!

You seem to me like you’re a very healthy eater so Apple Jacks probably aren’t on your grocery list!..lol. Honestly, I haven’t eaten them for years, but I remember how they taste and I’m sure I’d still like them!
