Today is  February 16, my birthday!  I was born in 1968 which makes me an Aquarius and a Gen-X’er. My birthstone is amethyst which was really important in the 70s and 80s. Most everyone I knew had a ring with their birthstone in it.

Some cool famous people who were born on February 16 include, tennis great, John McEnroe, Hugh Beaumont who played Ward Cleaver on Leave It To Beaver, and Andy Taylor from Duran Duran. I’m happy to be 55 years old and definitely not anxious about aging. I like being seasoned.

To celebrate turning double nickels, I’m honoring the number 5! On Facebook, I see friends occasionally posting different get-to-know-you lists and answering random questions.
