It’s time to celebrate all things red, white, and blue! Here are some of my favorites…just for the heck of it!

-Gotta love some big puffy white clouds against a bright, crisp blue summer sky.

-Homegrown red, juicy strawberries. The kind that drips down your chin while you eat a couple over the kitchen sink.

-Bomb Pops. Red, white, and blue. A 70s summer staple.

-Daisies. The perfect, simple white summer flower.

-Santa’s red suit. It’s Santa. What’s not to love?

-Seeing the bright white moon against the dark night sky.

Blueberries. Giant ones. Plain, just like nature intended, or with my morning oats, in a cobbler, or better yet, a blueberry scone sprinkled with white crystal sugar.

-Marshmallows. One of nature’s most perfect white foods..lol

-A red and white checkered tablecloth. Nostalgic. Quintessential Italian.

-Cardinals. Because I live in Canfield, Ohio, and the red cardinal is our school’s mascot.

Blue cheese. Love it in salads or on a charcuterie board. It counts as being white too!

-The first, soft, quiet white snow of winter.

Red licorice. My teeth say I shouldn’t eat it, but sometimes it’s too tempting.

-Fluffy, white buttercream frosting on a white vanilla birthday cake. Need I say more?

-Ketchup. Because eating french fries without mounds of red ketchup is just wrong..lol

…and the greatest thing that’s red, white, and blue?  Our sacred American Flag. Fly it proud! Happy 4th of July!
