It’s December 26. The gifts are unwrapped and all that’s left from the cookies are crumbs. I wonder what Santa and Mrs. Claus are doing today? My immediate guess is they’re still sleeping and probably starting their day with a big breakfast and a big mug of hot chocolate with whipped cream and sprinkles, no doubt.
After their bellies are full, I think they will be planning a trip to Disney World. After all, who wouldn’t want to spend time in the second most magical place in the world? The first magical place is the North Pole, of course.
I can’t help but think that Santa and Mrs. Claus have their favorite attractions and snacks like all of us who love Disney. Personally, I’ve never asked Santa, but I surmise these might be his top picks….
- The Jungle Cruise in the Magic Kingdom. Santa is an animal lover. Since the lush, foliage boat ride and Amazon waterfalls in the Jungle Cruise are opposite of the surroundings at the North Pole, I feel like they would delight in this river attraction. Plus, I think The Clause’s would relish in the wittiness of the Jungle Skipper. Who doesn’t like cheesy jokes?
- Mickey’s PhilharMagic. There are always a lot of Christmas Carols playing at the North Pole so it’s obvious Santa is a music kind of guy. That’s why I think he and the Mrs. would be entertained by this show. The iconic Disney songs with 3-D and special effects would have their bellies laughing like bowls full of jelly.
- Dole Whip. In my mind, this classic Disney snack would be their favorite. They obviously like everything cold but the taste of tropical fruit is something that they don’t always get to experience living in the North Pole. I think it makes perfect sense.
Shedding their warm, red jackets, hats, big black snow boots, and frolicking in Disney World is something I think they would look forward to. I imagine it’s the perfect after-Christmas getaway. Safe travels, Mr. and Mrs. Claus!
